Big Bend Picnic Site & Campground

  • The Big Bend Picnic Site is located along Highway 40 in a lodgepole pine forest setting with scenic views.

    Facilities: There are seven sites with tables and fire grates. A restroom is available, but there is no drinking water. Overnight camping is prohibited.

    Recreation: There are several hiking, scenic driving, camping, and fishing opportunities nearby.

    Note: The picnic area is open year-round; however, accumulated snow during the winter and early spring may limit parking and hinder access.
